Truro Club is fortunate to have 5 experienced resident Callers. Beryl Jukes, Frances Oates, Peter Strevens, Ken Warren and Beverley Richards.The Callers who are not calling on the night all dance in and assist with teaching within the sets to aid the evenings Caller. We find this beneficial to the newer members or those who are unsure of some of the more unusual moves.

Dance Dates for 2024

Saturday 14th September Autumn dance.
Music with A Pair of Shears.
​Callers Beryl Jukes, Frances Oates and Peter Strevens. £5 admission on the door. Bring and Share supper. 

AGM 9th October from 9pm

Saturday 16th November from 8pm Charity dance to raise funds and awareness of The Friends of the Royal Cornwall Hospital. Beryl Jukes, Frances Oates, Peter Strevens and Beverley Richards calling to the music with Jig’n’Reel. Bring and Share supper. Raffle.
​£5 admission on the door. Judith will be organising this dance.

Wednesday 18th December is Christmas Party club night from 8pm wear something Christmas.

Tuesday 31st December is our New Year’s Eve party from 8pm. Callers Beryl Jukes, Frances Oates, Peter Strevens, Ken Warren and Beverley Richards. £5 on the door. Bring and Share evening.

Truro Folk Dance Clubs Christmas themed Party night on Wednesday 8th January from 8pm at Kea Community Centre.
The theme for 2025 is '1920's.  Callers Frances Oates, Beryl Jukes, Peter Strevens, Ken Warren and Beverley Richards will be putting their individual stamp on the dances. Bring and Share supper.  Everyone welcome to come join in the festivities.
